Heather Farm Loop is a 1.8-kilometer moderately trafficked loop route with a lake that is suitable for all ability levels and is situated near Walnut Creek, California. The route is open year-round and provides a variety of activities. This route is also open to dogs, although they must be kept on a leash.

This track is popular with bikers, families, strollers, and mobility equipment users since it is a pleasant small paved walk that round the lake and gardens. At one end, there is an off-leash dog park.

Accessibility: The pathway is paved asphalt with a minimum width of five feet. Except for fairly steep stretches up to 8% at 0.3 and 0.5 miles, the predicted slope is largely benign, averaging 5% or less.

A good place to take the kids for the day as not only will you get to hike the trails but also have a picnic at Heather Farm Park or maybe visit the flower garden. 

Heather Farm Park in Walnut Creek, California, is a 102-acre community park. It has a swimming pool, an inclusive playground, sports grounds, an equestrian center, a dog park, a fishing pond, a nature area, a lake, and other attractions.

A pair of artificial-turf covered mounds that youngsters may slide down on sheets of cardboard are a unique element of the Heather Farm playground in Walnut Creek. The park is a fantastic place to visit for people of all ages. It has a lot to offer, from a stroller-friendly walk around the pond to a well-placed seat for grandparents to relax, and it’s all in excellent shape because it’s just a few years old.

The Ygnacio Canal Trail’s western section runs through Heather Farm Park, past a dog park and a lake. Nearby are the Heather Farm Community Center and the Clarke Memorial Swim Center. There is a brief gap at the park’s end where you must either cycle on the road or walk your bike on the sidewalk. Follow Kinross Dr. south, then Ygnacio Valley Rd. east. Continue on the bike path after crossing the road at the John Muir Medical Center entrance. The remainder of the path runs through residential neighborhoods. A variety of parks may be found along this stretch of road.
